The Architect’s Newspaper awards recognize the best in show across a spectrum of products, from structural systems to acoustic solutions to decorative lighting, that, when used well, work in harmony to construct our built environment. The jury comprises architects, designers, educators, curators, manufacturers, and AN editors. Entries are evaluated for innovation, aesthetics, performance, and value. Lupa was recognized as an Editors’ Pick in the Lighting: Outdoor category.
Lupa features a disk shape, no visible hardware, and a seamlessly integrated arm to bring a contemporary feel and refined look to public spaces. Lupa was intentionally designed with lower pole heights to contribute to a feeling of security.
